The 27-year-old starlet Amanda Bynes, popular for her roles in a number of television shows and on the big screen has admitted to having a nose job.  Bynes has taken to the Twitter highway to reveal that she did, in fact, have a nose job several years ago. Bynes says that she hates when media outlets use old photos of her, gushing, “I look so much prettier in my new photos.”

“Intouch used a photo from years ago on their cover and I hate it! The reason I’ve asked all magazines and blogs to stop using old photos of me is I don’t look like that anymore! I had a nose job to remove skin that was like a webbing in between my eyes. I wasn’t going to tell anyone, but I look so much prettier in my new photos that I don’t want old photos used anymore!” she tweeted May 5.

“I’m so sick of magazines and blogs using old photos! When will they stop?” Bynes continued. “I will never look like that again! Having surgery was the most amazing thing for my confidence!”

Amanda Bynes appears to be yet another young troubled star following the likes of Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears. Bynes however has been open about her new appearance, tweeting about her haircut, weight loss and style over the past few months. Perhaps coming clean about having a surgical procedure has brought her a sense of comfort in her fast paced young celebrity rat race.

Last week in a report put out by the Los Angeles Times, there has been a 4,378% rise in the number of women seeking “upper arm-lifts” since 2000. The surgeons interviewed in the report did not give the exact reason for such a astronomic rise in the amount of women seeking this particular cosmetic procedure it did state that women “are paying closer attention to the arms of female celebrities.” One of the most popular arms being those of the First Lady Michelle Obama.

The idea of celebrity-inspired cosmetic or plastic surgery is not a new one by any means of the imagination. The drastic increase in women seeking cosmetic procedures has prompted the website Celbuzz to ask the question: what would the perfect celebrity body part Frankenstein look like?

Eyebrows

After years of thin eyebrows being trendy, women are letting their fill out, citing Megan Fox as an inspiration. In fact, many women who overplucked are paying $8,000 for surgery that transplants hair from your head to above your eyes. The only downside being, that hair continues to grow at the same rate leaving you with curtains over your eyes.

Eyes

For the eyes, it is Anne Hathaway’s that are most often requested. Doctors say they have many patients coming in to request the “Anne Hathaw-eye.” No, just kidding, that’s something I just made up.

Nose

The rhinoplasty has long been a popular surgical procedure. But for inspiration, women looking to fix their noses are going to another nation’s figurehead: Kate Middleton. The queen-to-be’s nose is the top requested by women looking to tweak their noses. The New York Daily News even called the princess’ schnoz “spring’s hottest accessory.” And a New York-based surgeon told the paper that the procedure is so popular he keeps a dozen photographs of Middleton in the office for patients to look at during their consultation.

Lips

There are plenty of celebrities with giant lips to covet, but for this one Scarlett Johansson comes out on top. Surgeons report women most often cite her lips as the ones they’d like to have. Injections used to plumpen lips are the second most popular minimally-invasive cosmetic procedure in America, after Botox injections, according to the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.

Chin

It’s Halle Berry’s chin that women are clamoring for, apparently. Hers is the most requested chin/jawline in Hollywood. In fact, Hollywood is likely where most of those procedures are happening, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons reports that 36% of all chin augmentations in the U.S. are performed in the western states.

Nicole Kidman has had some radical changes to her appearance over the course of her very public career, some good and some bad. Hair changes=good, extreme botox=bad. Nicole has fallen victim to the overuse of cosmetic “enhancers” and crossed the bridge from naturally beautiful to frighteningly frozen.

Over the last decade we’ve watched Nicole repeatedly abuse the botox as well as facial fillers and lip plumpers to the point where we think she would melt if ever exposed to sunlight!
