Kat Von D’s Tattoos have made the TV personality who she is today, but what would she look like without them? These unbelievable before and after photos are of the hot LA Ink star on the set of a Sephora photo shoot for a perfume the artist was promoting.
Kat Von D does look stunning in both the before and after shots, but that’s thanks to the miracle of photoshop. Check out the pics below of the tatted up star with pounds and pounds of concealer on to cover all the black ink under her skin.
Kat Von D is now pushing her own line of tattoo cover up, but if it’s anything like this, you might as well invest in turtlenecks and trench coats! What do you think of this Hot Mess? Does she look better with or without tattoos?

She looks good both ways, but better without.
Seeing how long ago this was written I’m almost not wanting to reply to this but I feel compelled. Just saw the episode of LA Ink last week where this was done and I’m disappointed in how incorrect your article is. First, there was NO Photoshop involved in the picture. Which brings us to number (2) Sephora is NOT a perfume, it is her line of Tattoo Concealer. On the episode, they show the photo shoot and the application of the concealer to her over a 6 hour period. There is no camera trickery or photo touch up. It’s just Kat Von D covered in concealer. I actually feel that you have taken away some of the credibility of her product because you didn’t research your story a bit more. Do better next time!
You are incredibly dense if you think there’s no photoshop done in these photos. The picture with all of the concealer is showing you what she looked like prior to the photo shop. No product, none, can make you look like the advertising photos. Idiot.
No photoshop, are you kidding? Even the lighting is touched up in the after photo. I think that she looks better with the tats.
If the purple background picture wasn’t photoshoped/digitally manipulated she would look less like a digital manikin, and more like the photo on the left. The concealer looks unnatural, and doesn’t match her natural skin tone without having the lighting manipulated.
uh no way to explain the weirdness duh good looking weird but nice looking
